Chapter History

The Martin Area Alumnae Chapter was chartered on March 13, 1973 to assist in the success of our local collegiate chapter at UTM. We strive to support Delta Mu and the community while promoting sisterhood and philanthropy. Our alumnae chapter is one of the top ten largest alumnae chapters of Zeta Tau Alpha in the country. 

We were honored at the 2018 Convention by receiving the Most Improved Alumnae Chapter Silver Award, the Membership Increase Award, the Helping Hand Award, & Crown Chapter. 

In 2021  our chapter was awarded the Nelly Galloway Shearer Top Alumnae Chapter at Tennessee Zeta Day. 

At the 2024 Convention our chapter received Crown Chapter
